On the first weekend in September, Poco Diablo Resort was excited to host the wedding of Laura and Tony at our resort. We had formed a wonderful relationship with the couple who planned their entire wedding from the Chicagoland area. After meeting them in January at the Sedona Bridal Fair, everything was done long distance and the couple was so thorough on all of their wedding plans, we knew it would be a perfect event. They made diagrams and lists so everything was clear and laid out for our banquet staff. We appreciated all of the work they did on their wedding plans.

We met their family and friends – all were so friendly and fun. It was a wonderful weekend and in addition to hosting their fantastic wedding, we enjoyed hosting their rehearsal dinner as well as their breakfast brunch following their wedding.

Booking a wedding at Poco Diablo Resort is an easy and stress free experience. We make our pricing simple and affordable by incorporating all the fees in one package price. Our Signature Wedding Packages include the ceremony venue, reception venue, dinner, champagne toast, cake cutting fee, fruit and cheese appetizer and all the tables, chairs and linens for your event. At Poco Diablo Resort, you do not have to calculate the total cost of your wedding by adding up the cost for chairs, linens, venue costs and food costs which is the policy of other Sedona venues. Our packages also offer you the option of a buffet dinner or plated dinner without additional costs.

We enjoy giving our bridal couples the flexibility of choosing their own wedding vendors without restrictions. Wedding cakes must be purchased by a health inspected licensed bakery to cover food liability. All other wedding vendors are the choice of the wedding couple. We do not wish to choose your vendors for you as you may have a dear friend or family member that will act as your officiant or photographer. Your wedding is a personal event so you should be allowed to choose your own wedding vendors for your wedding. This is our policy and our bridal couples appreciate the fact that they can pick their own florist, photographer, etc. You have complete control over your event.

When we host a wedding reception in the Poco Diablo ballroom, we include the dance floor. Other venues add an additional cost for this. The dance floor is included in the Signature Wedding Packages and who would want to have an indoor wedding without one? We are practical in our packaging of items and feel that we offer the best options for Sedona wedding couples. Why should you have to pay additional charges for ceremony chairs? Of course you want your wedding guests to sit and witness the joining of the bride and groom in matrimony.

We have been told by our clients that the appreciate the bundling of all the items they will need from the resort in their wedding package. For those clients who wish to upgrade with custom linens or additional food items, we are happy to help. We do not pressure people into purchasing items that they do not need or want. If you want a cash bar for your wedding reception, we will accommodate. It is our pleasure to serve you and help you experience the kind of wedding you are dreaming of.

On the last day of May there was a great celebration here at Poco Diablo Resort. We were honored to host the special wedding of Danielle and Robert on one of the most beautiful days here in Sedona.

The ceremony took place beneath our majestic weeping willow tree at the Golf Course Gazebo. Danielle looked stunning as she approached Robert.

Guests enjoyed the Coffee Pot Brunch on the Canopy Patio with lovely view of the golf course and surrounding area. Dancing and fun was enjoyed by all. The charming wedding cake was created by Donna Joy, Sedona Sweet Arts.

We enjoyed hosting Robert and Danielle’s wedding here at Poco Diablo Resort. We wish them many happy years together and appreciate their kindness to all of us here.

We wanted to share a variety of lovely photographs by Natalie Miller of their wonderful wedding. Enjoy!

The month of May was a wonderful time to hold a special Sedona wedding and Poco Diablo Resort was thrilled to host the wedding ceremony and reception of Cindy and Anthony – two amazing people that we were honored to get to know. All throughout the planning process, we enjoyed corresponding with Cindy and Anthony and we were so excited on their wedding day, May 10, 2014. Although they were planning their Sedona wedding long distance from Seattle, Washington – you would never know it. They were always on top of things and such a pleasure to work with.

The wedding day held so many surprises for us and all the wedding guests. Never before had we seen so many personalized wedding touches – each one created by the Bride and Groom! We were blown away by their wedding theme – traveling and exotic destinations – right up our alley! The weather was perfect and you could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding day.

The wedding ceremony was held on the golf course with lovely views of the surrounding area and Elephant Rock, one of Sedona’s most famous rocks. Cindy was stunning in her bridal gown – glowing inside and out! What a wonderful, kind person and Anthony, joining together with Cindy – the perfect couple and truly outstanding people.

Their good friend Eric performed the intimate wedding ceremony and Bliss Extraordinary Floral created the floral decor. The event coordinators were Fetu and Clay with Starstruck Events and their amazing photographers were Ryan and Denise with Ryan and Denise Photography.

Guests proceeded to the Rose Terrace for cocktails and appetizers while Cindy and Anthony posed for their wedding portraits. Ryan and Denise captured their love and happiness in a variety of wonderful wedding photographs.

The wedding dinner was served on the Canopy Patio which was decorated in elaborate international decor. Each table was named as a different destination that Cindy and Anthony enjoyed together. Following dinner, their delicious desserts were provided by Cake Pop Cutie accompanied by the custom made stand reflecting the travel decor on display throughout their event.

Music was provided by Kevin Hoover with Pure Entertainment DJ. Guests danced throughout the night, having a great time and celebrating the union of Cindy and Anthony. We have been keeping in touch with our bridal couple and can’t wait to welcome them back to Poco Diablo Resort. Thank you so much for allowing us to host your fantastic wedding.
