Red Rock Wedding Ceremony

Red Rock Wedding Ceremony

On a lovely November day, Poco Diablo Resort hosted Matthew and Sarah’s wedding on the golf course with amazing red rock views. The lovely archway provided by Allen’s Flowers was the perfect touch to the natural setting. You could not ask for a more beautiful Sedona day.

Last November we were so thrilled to host the fun and exciting wedding of April and Brock at Poco Diablo Resort. On a perfect Saturday afternoon, Joel Boyd, owner of Affordable Sedona Weddings, performed the intimate wedding ceremony at the golf course gazebo. April was stunning in her lace wedding gown and we absolutely loved the colors and theme of the wedding. Lush green grass and majestic trees were part of the beautiful wedding ceremony.

We would like to thank Taryn Ball, owner of Love My Life Photography, for the marvelous photographs of April and Brock. As you can see, everyone had an exceptional time at the celebration.

The wedding reception was held on the Canopy Patio, brightened with colorful lights and additional decorations. It was a perfect evening and guests danced throughout the night. The awesome cake was created by Donna Joy, owner of Sedona Sweet Arts. As you can see, they had so much fun with the cake cutting. We loved having April and Brock here with us and were honored to be part of their wedding. We hope you enjoy their terrific wedding photos.

2015 was a sensational year for all of us at Poco Diablo Resort. We were honored to host 40 weddings this year and thoroughly enjoyed our wedding couples, their family and friends and we loved seeing our fellow wedding vendors here at the resort. Chef Felipe Felix and his talented crew in the kitchen prepared nearly 2000 meals for our 2015 weddings. Our wedding groups stayed 1,350 nights with us which kept our housekeepers busy.

Groundskeepers were making sure the golf course was green and trim for our wedding ceremonies and our concierge was busy giving rides to our brides, on their way to the ceremony site. Banquet staff kept busy serving delicious food and our bartenders had fun serving drinks to all of the wedding guests. No one could ask for a better time here in Sedona. Everyone pitches in to make sure our weddings are smooth and perfect.

On the last day of October this year, Nicole and Henry spoke their wedding vows and celebrated their union with much joy at Poco Diablo Resort. Their wedding ceremony was held on the golf course at the garden gazebo in front of their loving family and friends. It was a perfect Autumn day here in Sedona and the fall colors were abound.

The lovely wedding flowers were designed by Bliss Extraordinary floral. Nicole was stunning in her wedding gown. So much happiness was shared by Henry and Nicole on their special day.

We love to share the beautiful wedding photographs provided by Steven with SJA Studios in Scottsdale. Covering both the intimate wedding ceremony and the exciting wedding reception, Steven captured the emotions of the bridal couple and their wedding guests. Dancing and wedding games were organized by their professional DJ Elliot Mogerman  with Impact DJs.

Wedding guests enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a Champagne toast to the bride and groom. Dancing continued throughout the evening and it was truly a night to remember. The ballroom glowed with colored lights and stunning decor. We loved having Nicole and Henry here with us along with all their family and friends. We wish them much happiness ahead and hope to see them back at Poco Diablo Resort very soon.

Our garden gazebo is circled by large rose bushes that adds color and beauty to your nuptials. Additional floral arrangements can be placed on the gazebo for an added touch. The golf course is closed two hours prior to your wedding ceremony which allows additional time for your wedding professional to help with your decorations and set up. Adding another hour of closure allows you to comfortably take wedding portraits on the golf course.
