Saturday, July 10, 2010. We were pleased to host the romantic wedding of Monica Celaya and Guillermo Valenzuela at Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona, Arizona. While they were planning their event, Monica and her mother were very concerned about having a wedding here in Arizona in July.
Personalized Fans for the Wedding Guests
Sedona was the perfect solution to the heat concern. With an elevation of nearly 5,000 feet, the summers in Sedona tend to be cooler than the Phoenix area. This was true on the day of Monica and Guillermo’s wedding. Cloud cover helped with the sun and heat and guests enjoyed an intimate ceremony at the Golf Course Gazebo.

The wedding ceremony was performed by Andrew Murphy, Heart of Sedona Weddings. Steve Keenan, Poco Diablo Concierge, helped transport Andrew and his equipment to the golf course.

Our Lovely Bride Monica
Monica and Guillermo spoke their vows in front of 90 guests including their family and friends. Their lovely daughter, Charlie Sue, looked charming in her magenta rose dress. The vivid color of the wedding party was outstanding.

Custom Display for Guests on the Canopy Patio
Banquet staff served a delicious plated dinner with a choice of Chicken Diablo with Roasted Pepper Sauce or Pork Tenderloin with Anjoy Chile Sauce. The Canopy Patio hosted the wedding DJ and dancing was enjoyed by our wedding couple and their guests. Photographs were captured by Memories by Karen.

We have enjoyed working with Monica and Guillermo (and we absolutely loved Charlie Sue) and wish them a heartfelt congratulations. We hope to see them back at Poco Diablo Resort very soon.
