Saturday, March 26, 2011.  Our last wedding of the month here at Poco Diablo Resort took place on Saturday when we hosted the elegant wedding of Lindsey Armstrong and Kyle Bucey.  We have been working with Lindsey and Kyle for the past eight months and before you knew it, their wedding date was here.

Lindsey was radiant in her lovely layered wedding gown accompanied by dark red flowers provided by Mountain High Flowers.  The wedding party included their lovely flower girl Sydney accompanied by Lee, Terri, Mike and Dan.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Julie Williams with Spiritability and music was performed by the Phoenix String Quartet.  Guests enjoyed a lovely view of the red rocks of Sedona during the intimate wedding ceremony.  Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the Rose Terrace.

Photographs were taken by Mitch and Denise with Montvale Wedding Photography.  We hope to be able to share some of their professional photographs of Lindsey and Kyle with you very soon.

Lindsey and Kyle looked so happy during their first dance as all their guests looked on. Saturday, March 12, 2011.  Spring has arrived in Sedona and with this, kicks off the wedding season here in Sedona. We were so happy and honored to host the wedding ceremony and reception of our dear friends Nancy Poissant and Ron Starkey this afternoon.  You could not have asked for a more beautiful day.  The gazebo was decorated for the occasion by Nancy and her family and the delicate leaves on the weeping willow just started to come out adding color and elegance to the golf course.

Kevin “Chip” Hopkins while music was arranged by AZ Music Man, Rankin Shaver. The professional photographer was Jodi Powers who covered the wedding with her assistant Lindsey Treinen.

Following the ceremony, guests proceeded to the Poco Diablo Ballroom for the wedding reception. A variety of music was played by Rankin Shaver while guests enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared for the event. The ballroom looked lovely with the creative centerpieces that were arranged by Nancy and her family. The color purple was present throughout the decor at the ceremony, ballroom as well as their floral cake.  Much thought went into the guest favors, memorial table, sign in book and guest wish booklets. The bride and groom even had customized chair covers that were adorable.
