Saturday, October 15, 2011. Poco Diablo Resort and Sedona experienced a very busy weekend at one of the most beautiful times to visit our lovely town. We were all mesmerized by the amazing weather we had this past weekend. Our two bridal couples were so lucky to get married on the most perfect Sedona day.
Heather and Joseph had a lovely morning wedding ceremony performed by Heather’s aunt Cathy. They shared in a personal sand ceremony with crystal glassware etched with their names and the date of their wedding. Guests watched as Heather and Joseph exchanged wedding vows beneath the majestic weeping willow tree. Following the wedding ceremony, Heather and Joseph stayed on the golf course as photographs were taken and their guests proceeded to the Canopy Patio for the Wedding Brunch. Following their wedding portraits, Heather and Joseph were whisked away by William, our concierge, to the Canopy Patio to join in the celebration of their union.
Purple was a prevalent color in the wedding reception. Guests enjoyed the following items for brunch:
- Freshly Baked Breakfast Breads and Muffins
- Farm Fresh Scrambled Eggs
- Applewood Smoked Bacon
- Sausage Patties
- Poco Breakfast Potatoes
- Country Style French Toast with Warm Syrup
- Sliced Fresh Fruit
- Build your own Yogurt Parfait with Fresh Berries and Granola
- Assorted Fruit Juices, Freshly Brewed Coffee
The wedding brunch was accompanied by a variety of music and the first dance in celebration of their wedding. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed lovely views of the golf course and surrounding area.
The wedding cake and cupcakes were a treat following the wedding brunch. There were so many personal touches to the wedding with the handmade table assignments and floral decor. Their family was very helpful in the planning and execution of the event. It was surely a wonderful experience and we were thrilled to host their wedding here at Poco Diablo Resort.
