One of the most popular wedding ceremony settings is our golf course gazebo. Surrounded by assorted roses and greenery, the gazebo sits beneath a majestic weeping willow tree, just in front of our fountain. There are two large weeping willow trees on the golf course in addition to tall pines, junipers and sycamore.

Barbara’s beautiful bridal bouquet created by florist Jennifer was dazzling with a variety of yellow flowers, just perfect for a spring wedding. Taylor and Ajaye

Taylor and Ajaye

Saturday, April 14, 2012. Today we were excited to host the wedding of Taylor and Ajaye here at Poco Diablo Resort. There were so many familiar faces at the wedding as Taylor’s sister Marcy got married here in 2010. Taylor loved our resort and decided to hold her lovely wedding here at Poco. Many of the wedding vendors chosen by Marcy were also on hand to help Taylor and Ajaye with their wedding. We also enjoyed getting to know both of their parents.

When Taylor and Ajaye planned their April wedding, they never thought about snow… but that is what we experienced today in Sedona. This was a very late snowfall but luckily the snow melted quickly and they were able to have their wedding ceremony on the Canopy Patio with a lovely view of the golf course and surrounding area. Pastor Dave performed the beautiful wedding ceremony of Taylor and Ajaye.

The bridesmaids wore a lovely yellow gown with colorful flowers while the groomsmen were in white. Taylor’s wedding gown was stunning and she was radiant while she walked down the aisle. Both of them were so thankful to their loving family members and they received a lot of help on their wedding.

Their photographs were taken by Robin French and she was able to capture a loving family surrounding the bride and groom. The music was provided by Jackie Bessler, a Sedona favorite. After their formal wedding portraits, the wedding party joined the wedding guests in the Poco Diablo Ballroom where a delicious wedding buffet was prepared for the occasion.

There was a special memorial for Ajaye’s grandmother, the lovely Jane Russell. We enjoyed the special slide show that was on display, created by Ajaye’s father Thomas. We really enjoyed the family and their relationship with one another. It was a wonderful wedding and everyone had a great time.

One of the highlights of the wedding was their beautiful daughter Hayden, the perfect flower girl! Champagne flowed and toasts were made throughout the night. We congratulate Taylor and Ajaye and hope we will see them often at Poco Diablo Resort. Thank you for allowing us to host your very special wedding.

Scott looked on with love as Kelly walked down the aisle in her elegant wedding dress. They had two cute flower girls and a ring bearer that joined Kelly as she walked down the aisle.
