Last month we were honored to host the wedding of Chris and Tegan at Poco Diablo Resort. It was a marvelous October day here in Sedona and their wedding was perfect. Their wedding ceremony took place beneath the stately weeping willow tree by the garden gazebo.  Chris looked on as Tegan approached the gazebo looking so beautiful in her wedding gown. Bridal Hair by The Spa at Poco Diablo: Lindsay Mikhel Roybal.

Last month we were honored to host the wedding reception of Ed and Dominika at Poco Diablo Resort.  Their story is a true love story getting married years after attending their prom together. Following their intimate wedding ceremony, Ed and Dominika arrived at our resort with their family and friends, ready for a wonderful evening full of good food, dancing and fun. Hair and Makeup by The Spa at Poco Diablo: Lindsay Mikhel Roybal and Mary Ann Higbee.

A special “Thank You” to Mary Sandy, owner of Photos by Mary, for sending over their lovely wedding photographs that we would like to share with you. Enjoy!

Throughout the years we have discovered that October in Sedona is one of the most popular times of the year for weddings in our lovely town. The cooler refreshing temperatures are crisp with Autumn colors and there is a certain freshness in the air. Our post is a tribute to many of the wedding couples who chose October for their wedding at Poco Diablo Resort. Enjoy some of the fabulous photographs we have received over the past seven years.

September is one of the most popular months in Sedona for destination weddings and this year we were honored to host a number of amazing weddings at our resort. With the temperatures dropping and a crispness in the air, September is a perfect time to visit Sedona with your family and friends.

At this time of year, we begin to see fall themed decor in many of our weddings which is a welcome change from the warmer summer temperatures in Northern Arizona. Fall colors are a perfect enhancement to Sedona weddings, highlighting the natural colors of the area. Our golf course sparkles during this time of year and the trees begin to start their transformation in Autumn. Our outdoor patio at Poco Diablo Resort is the perfect location for a fall wedding reception offering terrific views of the surrounding summits and hills.

We received a few exceptional photographs from two of our popular photographers in the area. Heather Kadar captured the beauty of Ken and Chantel’s wedding earlier this month. We appreciate her skill and artistic touch on the wedding photos.

Mark Nelson believes in taking photos that detail the exceptional colors and emotions shared by wedding couples on their wedding day. Mark enjoys working with film for essentials in the picture. Mark captured the fun and enjoyment of Kellie and Jon’s wedding during the first weekend of September. A perfect day for their celebration.

Outdoor receptions are hold on the Canopy Patio and Rose Terrace. One of the few locations where you can dance under the stars and enjoy a band or DJ until 10:00pm. Poco Diablo Resort is definitely a dog friendly resort offering guest rooms that you can share with your four legged best friend. Dogs can join you on the patio for breakfast, lunch or dinner and even enjoy a delicious treat from our custom doggie menu. We love dogs and we make it easy for you to ensure your special dog is well taken care of while they are participating in your wedding at Poco Diablo.

You may wish to have them act as your ring bearer as is a wonderful thing to be able to include your loveable dog in your wedding ceremony. As you can see, this is truly very special and guests will remember all the fun they on your remarkable day.

On a sunny summer morning we were excited to host the brilliant wedding of Monica and Aaron on the Poco Diablo golf course. The ceremony was set up with a variety of colorful balloons and pastel colored decor. Officiating the wedding ceremony was Rabbi Bernie who is quite at home at our garden gazebo. The sensational wedding photographs were captured by Heather Kadar Photography and we would like to share some of them with you. Enjoy!
