2015 was a sensational year for all of us at Poco Diablo Resort. We were honored to host 40 weddings this year and thoroughly enjoyed our wedding couples, their family and friends and we loved seeing our fellow wedding vendors here at the resort. Chef Felipe Felix and his talented crew in the kitchen prepared nearly 2000 meals for our 2015 weddings. Our wedding groups stayed 1,350 nights with us which kept our housekeepers busy.

Groundskeepers were making sure the golf course was green and trim for our wedding ceremonies and our concierge was busy giving rides to our brides, on their way to the ceremony site. Banquet staff kept busy serving delicious food and our bartenders had fun serving drinks to all of the wedding guests. No one could ask for a better time here in Sedona. Everyone pitches in to make sure our weddings are smooth and perfect.

Our garden gazebo is circled by large rose bushes that adds color and beauty to your nuptials. Additional floral arrangements can be placed on the gazebo for an added touch. The golf course is closed two hours prior to your wedding ceremony which allows additional time for your wedding professional to help with your decorations and set up. Adding another hour of closure allows you to comfortably take wedding portraits on the golf course.

Folks from around the country love Sedona and who can blame them. We had one of the mildest winters ever this year and have experienced blooming trees and flowers as early as February this year. Although most weddings take place between April and November, this winter was turning out to be the perfect time to host a Sedona wedding at Poco Diablo Resort.

We were excited to host the wedding of Jim and Debra on March 8. We are familiar with Jim and Debra as owners of Flagstaff/Sedona Dog Magazine and we were thrilled that they wanted to hold their wedding at Poco Diablo Resort. Their ceremony was held on the Rose Terrace facing our lovely golf course and sparkling pond. Everyone enjoyed the intimate wedding ceremony performed by Rev. Joel Boyd, Affordable Sedona Weddings.

Following the wedding ceremony, guests congregated in the T-Carls Restaurant for cocktails and dinner. A delicious buffet was prepared by Chef Felipe Felix and our banquet staff offered excellent service throughout the evening. We were honored to host the wedding of Jim and Debra and look forward to our relationship with them throughout the coming years. We enjoy advertising with their publication and always welcome dogs to our resort for fun and excitement. Our dog friendly rooms are near a grassy area so that all pets can enjoy their time in Sedona. We also offer doggie dining on the restaurant patio. We hope to see you and your pet here at Poco Diablo Resort this year.
