Emma – Part of the Wedding Ceremony

Poco Diablo Resort has been hosting weddings in Sedona for over 40 years and one reason for our popularity is our lovely green golf course. Everyone loves grass, especially our four footed friends and we have had the pleasure of hosting a number of dogs at our resort that took part in their owners wedding. There is nothing as cute as man’s best friend participating in your special day sharing their unconditional love with you and your guests.

Poco Diablo Resort is very lucky to experience the love and excitement of a Sedona wedding and Olivia and Jonathan’s wedding was one of our favorites! Although the couple planned their Sedona wedding from the East Coast, their destination wedding went off like clockwork. We truly enjoyed working with Olivia and Jonathan and we were absolutely thrilled that they chose our resort as their wedding venue. The wedding guests came from near and far and we were astonished by their benevolence and kindness that was shown to each one of us.

Jonathan and Olivia did a fantastic job with the design and theme of their wedding and we loved it. They incorporated their brilliant wedding colors in all their decor and ornamentation. The stunning wedding floral was created by Mountain High Flowers and was absolutely breathtaking.

Olivia’s hair and make-up was fabulous and our stylist Lindsay Roybal from the Poco Diablo Spa did an outstanding job. We love how Olivia sparkled on her wedding day in her sensational wedding gown. A perfect celebration with so much joy and happiness shared by all.

The wedding ceremony was held on the golf course with views of Elephant Rock. The weather was perfect and the sun was shinning down with support. Formal wedding portraits were taken throughout the evening by Lia’s Photography who even dressed in the wedding colors. Husband and wife team Lia and Max were phenomenal and professional creating amazing photographs all night. We enjoy sharing some of them with you.

The wedding reception was held under the lights on the Canopy Patio. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet prepared by Chef Felix and his staff. A great selection of music was provided by Bobby Russell, Sedona Sounds DJ, and everyone danced up a storm during the reception. You can see how much everyone enjoyed the evening. It was truly a wonderful celebration of love and marriage. Great family, friends and affection throughout the wedding event.

Wedding Ceremony on Golf Course

We hosted Whitney and Kurt’s wedding on a perfect Sunday in mid-May. The couple booked our Coffee Pot Rock Brunch Wedding Package having their wedding ceremony on the golf course at 10:00am followed by a delicious brunch on the Canopy Patio. So much love and attention contributed to their fabulous wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with the colors of the wedding decor.

Many times we experience family members helping out with the plans and arrangements for our weddings and it is truly an act of love. Kurt’s mother Diana headed a large team of helpers that transformed the Canopy Patio to perfection with brilliant taste and class.
